Thank you members! Photo competition – our winners

09 November 2017

Massive thank you to all who submitted photos to our competition last week and everyone who shared the competition, distributed posters and posted on social media. We received more than 150 fantastic entries from students and colleagues all over the UK.

Selecting just 13 winners from all of these was very difficult, but we can now announce our winners for the calendar:

  • Annika Blümel, ‘London New Year's Eve celebrations,’ studying Law, Freie Universität Berlin, Germany and took part in Erasmus at University of Westminster
  • Tina Kramaric, ‘Waves of change’, studying Zoology, Aberystwyth University
  • Ruixue Sun, ‘Surprise,’ studying Marketing Analytics, University of Southampton

We felt that these really summed up what it’s like to study in the UK and how the work of UKCISA and our members help to transform the lives of international students. Prizes will be with the winners shortly.

Throughout 2018 we’ll be celebrating international students by showcasing the excellent photos. So if you or your institution hasn’t been selected as a winner you may still spot your photo on our website next year!
