CEO update: UKCISA staff changes

20 July 2023

A message from our Chief Executive, Anne Marie Graham

I wanted to let you know that Julie Allen, Director of Member Services and Policy, has decided to leave UKCISA this autumn.

While Julie has been with the organisation for just over nine years now, it feels like she has been part of UKCISA for so much longer, as a former trustee and an active member in her roles at London School of Economics, Queen Mary University and University of the Arts, London. For many of us, she is an intrinsic part of the UKCISA team. I have worked with Julie since she joined UKCISA – when I was working at Universities UK International, she was a staunch supporter of my work in outward mobility – and for me, and for many others, it will be strange to be at UKCISA without her.

However, as Julie is leaving to pursue a varied freelance career, building on her coaching and organisation consultancy work, I hope that she will continue to work for UKCISA as part of our extended family, supporting us to complete a number of key projects.

I want to thank Julie for everything she has done for UKCISA and wish her all the success in this exciting new phase of her career.

We want to reassure you that we are committed to continue delivering a high-quality membership service and that your membership with UKCISA will not be affected during this time. We will keep you updated with any further developments as and when we recruit a new member of the team to lead our membership and policy work.
