UKCISA grants for pilot projects

One of UKCISA's key aims is to support members in providing the highest quality institutional support for international students and ensure international students in the UK have the best possible experience. The aims of this scheme are twofold:

  • Pilot Projects
    To encourage innovation, and develop and disseminate examples of best practice in international student support
  • Research
    To enhance our understanding of the needs and/or experience of international students studying in the UK

The UKCISA Grants Scheme for Pilot Projects aims to encourage innovation, and develop and disseminate examples of best practice in international student support. We provide grants of up to £2,000 for members. 

The scheme started in 2015 and now runs annually.  Applications for grants usually open in May and close in early August.  The research needs to be completed by the following July.
