International Student Ambassadors

The #WeAreInternational student ambassador programme is an education policy and leadership development scheme for exceptional individuals from around the world who are currently studying in the UK.

Our vision for the programme is to empower international students to be key partners in shaping a quality student experience, using their knowledge of studying in the UK to influence policy and lead the #WeAreInternational campaign, so that together we can develop an inclusive global student community. Our student ambassadors will be equipped with policy knowledge and leadership skills to lead change, and forge an exciting network of global student leaders.

Join the #WeAreInternational Student Ambassador Programme 2020-22

Applications are now open to become a #WeAreInternational Student Ambassador 2020-22. We are inviting all current international students aged 18 or over to apply. Successful candidates will be appointed for a period of two academic years, until September 2022.

This is an exciting opportunity for international students to join the programme, lead the award-winning #WeAreInternational campaign, represent international students’ voices with various training and development sessions, and receive exclusive access to mentorships, events, and conferences.

Applications will close at 23:59 on Tuesday 10th November 2020. Shortlisted candidates are invited to online interview on Wednesday 25th November.

To be eligible, applicants must be aged 18 or above and be a current EU or overseas student studying in the UK who is graduating after June 2021. Applicants must demonstrate the drive and interest in keeping up to date with policy, interest in international education, and passion to create positive change for students.
