UKCISA shortlisted for four MemCom Excellence Awards 2026

UKCISA has been shortlisted for four MemCom Excellence Awards 2026, recognising the impact of our flagship events, the work of our Engagement and Partnerships team, and the leadership of former UKCISA Chief Executive Anne Marie Graham.
UKCISA has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Best Event (Non-Celebratory <£100K) – UKCISA Annual Conference 2025
- Best Celebration Event – #WeAreInternational Awards 2025
- Team of the Year – UKCISA Engagement and Partnerships team
- CEO Leadership Award – former UKCISA Chief Executive Anne Marie Graham
The event shortlists recognise how UKCISA brings members and the wider international education sector together to learn, connect and share good practice. Our Annual Conference 2025 in Manchester brought together over 400 attendees, providing a welcoming and highly valued space for professional development, peer connection, practical learning and direct engagement with government and sector partners. The inaugural #WeAreInternational Awards attracted 421 applications from 120 institutions and organisations and celebrated outstanding work supporting the international student experience across the UK.
The Team of the Year shortlist recognises the collaboration, creativity and shared commitment of UKCISA’s Engagement and Partnerships team, bringing together expertise across events, communications, student voice and strategic partnerships, in developing and delivering the inaugural #WeAreInternational Awards. The Awards established a new platform to celebrate good practice, amplify positive stories and recognise the contributions of students, staff, teams and institutions across the sector.
The CEO Leadership Award recognises Anne Marie Graham’s leadership and impact during her time as UKCISA Chief Executive from April 2019 to March 2026, including her contribution to strengthening UKCISA’s influence, sector relationships and commitment to ensuring international student voices are heard.
The winners will be announced at the MemCom Excellence Awards ceremony in London on 24 September 2026. We are proud to see UKCISA’s work, and the work we deliver with and for our members, partners and international students, recognised across four categories and look forward to celebrating alongside organisations from across the membership sector.
