Celebrate outstanding achievements at the first ever #WeAreInternational Awards
June 24, 2025
Join us in recognising international students and everyone who supports them across the UK at UKCISA’s #WeAreInternational Awards this November.
At this inaugural event, we will shine a light on excellence in leadership, innovation, and community impact. We will celebrate individuals, teams and institutions who foster a stronger and more inclusive international education sector, ensuring that the UK remains a world-class leader in welcoming global talent.
Nominations are now open in 14 categories, that recognise international students, professionals and institutions, including Student Voice Champion, Outstanding Student Support, Sustainable Internationalisation, and Institution of the Year.
UKCISA Chief Executive Anne Marie Graham shared:
“Through our members, we know that there are so many people who work hard to ensure international students have a positive experience in the UK. In a time of tightening budgets and increasing pressure on teams in educational institutions, I’m so proud that this year we are setting aside the time to recognise all that they do.”
Pedram Bani Asadi, Chair of UKICSA’s Student Advisory Group and #WeAreInternational Student Ambassador said:
“These awards will highlight the amazing impact international students make in the UK every day, and all those who are striving for an inclusive and welcoming environment for them. I can’t wait to hear their stories and be able to celebrate together in November.”
Read through the categories, criteria, and FAQ, and nominate your peers, colleagues, or institution today. Nominations will close at 9am on Wednesday 6 August 2025.
The shortlist will be announced in August 2025. Tickets for the Award ceremony on 19 November 2025 at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London will be available after nominations close.
