Our response to the recent announcement.

At the UKCISA Annual Conference 2025, the University of Hertfordshire and Kingston University shared how resilient advice and compliance teams are key to navigating regulatory change. Through two different case studies, they explored how institutions are adapting team structures, cultures, and practices to meet the evolving needs of both students and UKVI.

On 13 August 2025, the Scottish Government published new guidance, The Rest of UK Tuition Fee Status - Student Studying in Scotland (August 2025). UKCISA is working to embed references to the new guidance into our public information on Scotland: HE fee status.

Students moving from the Republic of Ireland or the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man to start a higher education course in Wales this autumn do not need to arrive in time for 1 September. UKCISA information has been updated to reflect this.
