Bookings are now open for the annual AISA conference. AISA is a professional sub-group and practitioner network of UKCISA for those working in international student advice. Find out more and get in touch to join AISA as a part of your UKCISA membership. 

The AISA Conference 2025 will take place at International Students House, Great Portland Street, London, on Thursday 20 November, 9.45 am – 4 pm. The price is just £85 per person, which includes refreshments and lunch.

Bookings will close on Friday, 14 November at 5 pm. 

Programme:

09.45: Arrival and refreshments

10.15 -11.30: Operational update from UKVI, A member of UKVI’s Operations Team will provide an update on the Summer surge and their plans for winter. Following the update, there will be a Q&A. Those registered to attend can submit their questions (relevant to International Student Advice work) here. Include your full name and institution name.

11.30 -11.45: UKCISA lobbying and feedback, Deepa Chadha (UKCISA)

11.45 – 12.45: Lightning Sessions, Find out about good practice, innovative work and get new ideas from colleagues working in international student support. Following a series of short presentations, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. 

12.45 – 13.30 Lunch

13.30 – 15.00:  Surviving and thriving in turbulent times, Rachel Reeds (Think Bold Ltd) will deliver an interactive workshop offering a frank, energising space for international student advisers and professional services staff navigating continued uncertainty, pressure, and change in UK higher education.

15.00 – 16.00 Networking, An opportunity for informal networking in the Thirsty Scholar (in International Students House) with colleagues from across the AISA network.
