Latest assessment of economic value of international students

Do you know the economic value of international students? The latest Universities UK report explores the economic impact nationally and for each of the nine English regions (with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to come).

 Findings include:

  • 19% of all students are international
  • £10.8bn of export earnings
  • £5.4bn off-campus expenditure
  • 206,000 jobs created
  • £25.8bn of output generated
