Our online training programme for 2021 is now open for bookings, featuring a new series of online courses covering aspects of the Student immigration route.
What’s on offer or coming soon?
Designed to be flexible and responsive, our new online training programme includes the following courses on aspects of the Student immigration route:
- Introduction to the Student route
- Student route essentials: English language assessment
- Student route essentials: Understanding academic progress
- Student route essentials: Financial requirements under the Student immigration route
- Student route essentials: Time limits under the Student immigration route
- Student route essentials: Making an application under the Student route
We are also running courses on the 'Visitor route and study', and 'Considering common difficulties and absences under the EU Settlement Scheme'.
We plan to offer training on the Graduate route, once further details about this are announced by the government. We are also busy assessing recent announcements by the Scottish Government and the Department for Education in England, and waiting for further guidance, to plan and prepare training on fees assessment for courses across the UK that are commencing in autumn 2021. We will be releasing further details about these soon.
Who should attend our immigration training courses?
Our immigration training courses are suitable for all those working at UKCISA member institutions who offer immigration advice to international students. If you are new to this, we recommend that you begin with the introductory course and then attend specific courses as required – although there is no requirement to attend in a set order.
