Fundamental Principles of the EU Settlement Scheme

This will be a 2.5 hour online session which will involve looking at the Rules, guidance and discussing case studies as well as sharing best practice.

This session will enable you to:

·         know the purpose of the EU settlement scheme

·         identify the key resources for the EU Settlement scheme – the relevant Rules and guidance

·         identify who is eligible to apply under the EU settlement scheme

·         identify the requirements that need to be met for settled status and pre-settled status

·         consider how to deal with absences from the UK and their impact on eligibility for pre-settled and settled status

BASIC LEVEL – for those who are or who will be advising on the EUSS.
