UK Council for International Students Affairs (UKCISA) exists to support international students coming to, and already in the UK. It seeks to support international students across the education sector, and to ensure that international students are represented in policy development and government strategy, including the new International Education Strategy.
To further this objective, UKCISA will convene a one-day forum of international students from across the UK education sector, to inform policy and practice; followed by an evening reception in London, to celebrate the International Education Week and the award-winning campaign #WeAreInternational, on Monday, 18th November 2019.
The forum will be held in central London from 9.00 – 17.30, with the evening reception taking place from 18.00-20.00. The venue and agenda will be announced shortly!
The event will invite international students to discuss diverse aspects of the student experience, from the application process through to academic support, with topics including immigration policy, community engagement, and employment. It will invite policymakers and influencers to hear these discussions and join the evening reception to celebrate the great achievements of international education and international students.
#WeAreInternational Student Forum is a brand-new opportunity to reach international students directly, alongside policymakers and influencers. It is a great opportunity for organisations that provide services to students or the sector to promote their brands, products and services.
