EEA1 - apply on this form for a registration certificate if you are an EEA or Swiss national, and you are not subject to the Worker Registration Scheme or the Worker Authorisation Scheme.
EEA2 - apply on this form for a residence card if you are not an EEA or Swiss national, but you are the family member of an EEA or Swiss national who is in the UK, and who is not subject to the Worker Registration Scheme or the Worker Authorisation Scheme.

Employing a Bulgarian or Romanian national in the UK

There are seven different forms for Bulgarian and Romanian nationals who want to work in the UK. You can find them all here.
BR1 - use this form to apply for a registration certificate if you are exempt from worker authorisation, or the EEA family member of a Bulgarian or Romanian national who is exempt. Also use this form to apply for a registration certificate if you are a student or self-employed person.
BR2 - use this form to apply for a registration certificate if you are a highly skilled person, or the EEA family member of a highly skilled person.
BR3 - use this form to apply for a worker accession card.
BR4 - use this form to apply for a worker accession card if you are a Bulgarian or Romanian national and you are the family member of a Bulgarian or Romanian student, self-employed person, or person with an accession worker card. You cannot use this form if you are applying as the family member of someone who holds an accession worker document as an au pair, seasonal agricultural worker or under the sectors based scheme. Instead, you should use form BR3.
BR5 - use this form to apply for a residence card if you are not an EEA or Swiss national, but you are the family member of a Bulgarian or Romanian national who is exempt from worker authorisation, a student, self-employed person or highly skilled person.
BR6 - apply on this form for a family member residence stamp if you are not an EEA or Swiss national, but you are the family member of a Bulgarian or Romanian national who has a worker authorisation document.
BR7 - apply on this form for a registration certificate if you are a Bulgarian or Romanian national and you are the family member of a Czech, Estonian, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Slovakian or Slovenian national who holds a worker registration card.
