Sources of data on international students in the UK
UKCISA is not responsible for collecting international student data, so if you have a query about international student statistics, please contact one of the following organisations:
- The Higher Education Statistics Agency - For comprehensive higher education data
- Education UK Marketing British Council - For analysis data for HE, FE and other sectors relating to international students (some data is available to Education UK Partners only)
- Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) - For application and acceptance data for UK HE undergraduate courses
- The Home Office - for statistics on student visas (though NB you may also find it useful to view reports and data from the thinktank the IPPR, which has published several analyses of student visa data, and the Migration Observatory at the University of Oxford)

- Statistics on global mobility can be found in the Atlas of Student Mobility, on the UNESCO Institute of Statistics website, and via the OECD.
- Statistics for English speaking competitor countries are published by Australian Education International; the Institute of International Education (for the USA); Education New Zealand; and the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada
- Council for Education in the Commonwealth produces periodic updates of international student flows within the Commonwealth.
